    Preferred Method For Temp Taking?

I use underarm and add a degree. It's how I've always done it, but now I have a parent arguing that its not accurate. What do y'all use?

For infants I use rectal.. It's the most accurate...l for all others I use either ear or temporal... In my experience those are much more accurate than under the arm

EAr only. I had the temporal scanner but it only worked when it wanted

I take the temp 3 times. Start right war, the take agin in the left an back to the right and I get the average if the 3 which sometimes all 3 are the same result.

under the arm, add a degree. Those forehead ones never worked right for me. Neither did the ear ones.

Ear - but I did have to spend some $$ to get a really good one. The others weren't very accurate.

Rectal for infants; temporal for toddlers+ but I constantly have to make sure the batteries are fully charged to get accurate results.

Same here. It was NOT cheap but is MORE than worth it.

I used to have an ear thermometer but it died so I bought a temple one. I don't trust it though, and should get another ear thermometer. Luckily my children rarely have fevers.
