until the doorbell rings- a roofer trying to find business (we had a HUGE hailstorm and everyone's getting new roofs)! And I thought I convinced my DH to disconnect the doorbell this past weekend :confused: Well, it'll be done tonight!!!

That's exactly what I have, I have a sign on my mail box right next to the door that states.... Kids Napping time between 1-3pm, please Do Not ring the door bell. Please call me at ....

I had a little note taped over the doorbell, but I took it down for my DH's 30th bday party. Well, within a week I've had 3 DCPs and quite a few solicitors ring the darn thing It looks so tacky, but I also don't like to advertise the whole sleeping children thing (I've watched too many crime shows I guess, but I think all the sidewalk chalk would be a give-away, too-LOL )

I have a sign I hang on the door at EVERY nap time that reads " Shhhhh... It's nap time here at Sprouts. Please refrain from knocking." No one ever knocks any more :-)
