    Finally Licensed

I am kinda of new to the forum home daycare is also a new experience for me. I'm looking forward to getting starting. I am very nervous tho I currently have one child in my care so far so good. Just have a few questions and hopefully some one can help me.

    1. Paper work (organizing) How do I set up my files for new clients.
    2. Food program what goes in the file
    3. How do I track receipts
    4. How do I distinguish personal usage from business

Please if any one have a spreadsheet that break down there financial duties please email me a copy jonestammy18@gmail.com.

    Thanks so much

    Congratulations!!!
I bought a little filing box to separate each child's file and put all paperwork that pertains to them in their own file.

Your food program sponsor will, or should tell you what goes in the file for them or at least mine did.

I use Minute Menu Kids (MMK) to track receipts and it also tells you personal use things and business use things. If you have met with your food program sponsor, they may offer the software at a deeply discounted price (mine did for $10) or you can buy it, but it's expensive I think.

I don't have any spreadsheets because the MMK program does it for you. You can print reports, do menu's online instead of paper menus, track the children's hours, etc... there is so much that the program does!

    Congratulations again! happyface

I love Minute Menu Kids too!

Get some of Tom Copeland's books - they'll tell you everything you need to know! http://www.redleafpress.org/cw_contr...e=Tom+Copeland Sometimes you can find them on half.com too.

http://www.minutemenu.com I think this is the link so you can check it out, but don't buy it until you talk to your food program sponsor!
