    Wow, Pushiest Interview EVER!

I wouldn't even call it an interview! We are done with lunch and having circle-story time. Woman walks right in, despite the sign on the door that says "tours are by appointment only". I tell her sorry, you need an appointment, but she walks right past me and starts looking around, asking questions. I tell her she can come back at 530 for an appointment and motion her out the door. Close door. Knock knock knock. I open door.just enough to stick my head out. "I don't need an appointment, he will start tomorrow." I say no, that is not how it works. She just keeps talking. My mom, who volunteers here on Mondays to do craft projects, and my husband finish story and hustle the kids to the other room for nap. This lady stands on my porch, just repeating...."I will pay you right now, he starts tomorrow." There was a language barrier, they are from Colombia. She tells me it is only.temporary, they move to NYC in a month. Also, he has no immunization records, or physical exam records, but "he had all his shots in Colombia. He's healthy. I start him tomorrow". No no no! No health records, no care, and I DO NOT DO TEMPORARY CARE. She gets in my face and.tells me "you go inside and ask your mom. I want to speak to her." Now I'm.super pissed.. "my mother does crafts, you are speaking to the facility.Director right now. I refuse to provide temporary care, and state law forbids me to accept enrollments without medical forms. Thank you for your interest, but I will not be.enrolling your child"

    "Fine. I come.back at 530 for appointment"

"No. I am not enrolling your child"

    "YOU TAKE HIM TMRW THEN."

    SERIOUSLY?

BTW, the boy was 4 and threw about 3 tantrums in the 5 mind they were here.
Can't wait to see if she shows up at 530 or tomorrow anyways. The answer will still

No.Language barrier or not, "no" means "no" in Spanish and English.

:: That's always funny to me.
I've had a man attempting to sell magazines here once while my Mom was here as well who tried to speak around me to my Mom (who was visiting). I had to tell him, "I am the owner of this house..."

:: this is funny! I apparently look and sound younger than I am according to some people so sometimes when I answer the phone I've gotten sales people ask if my mom was home. Since my mom doesn't live here I'd just say no and then they'd get off the phone also had people come to the door and ask the same ::

That's a crazy experience you had!

Same here; I had a Comcast salesman ask to speak with my mother. "Sir, I am the owner". The face is always priceless!
