Ok...its been 5 years BUT i have drug possession charges..misd. and felony.
I now have 3 beautiful children and those charges are making employers not even give me a chance.
They are JUST possession..not trying to sell or anything like that. I REALLY want to work at my childrens daycare and then open my own in my home.
Ive got all the paperwork and applictions...im in FL...will this work for me??

I am not sure about Florida laws so I would definitely check with licensing in your area to be sure.

I know here in my state, you would not be allowed to work in the child care.

I know there are several members from Florida so maybe one of them will see this post and have an answer for you.

we hear this so much . I wish someone could beat it into kids heads in highschool . Anything with drugs can keep you out of working with children or the elderly, keep you out of HUD housing.

You may be able to get the misdemeanor expunged from your record but I do not think they ever do that with a felony
