    Printer Paper

I was wondering what kind of printer paper you guys use.

I haven't had a lot of luck...mine always seems too thin. I've tried the one from Costco but didn't like it. Now I'm using Georgia Pacific and that seems too thin too. For example, if I print on both sides I can see the other image on the opposite side...if that makes any sense

I just use the Costco stuff. We have 2 in university and one in high school. We go through ink and paper at an alarming rate. I rarely print for daycare purposes. I send electronic files.

I use the Office Depot or any off brand I can find, 24 lb paper. I use a 500 pack a week between my own kids and the daycare. Half of the time a parent buys it though and sometimes they even buy my ink

I buy the Georgia-Pacific copy paper for simple black and white printing.
I haven't had any issues with it coming through onto the other side.

Maybe it is something to do with your printer settings? I can choose between best, good and economy printing options. I always go with economy as it uses the least amount of ink.

I bought a big package from Sam's Club awhile back and it's a lot thicker than the kind I have used before. I don't know the brand since I threw out the wrapper.

I was using the 20 lb for a long time and then when sometimes I would use it for them to paint on or print off coloring sheets and they use marker, it crinkled the paper so I switched to the 24 lb paper and that doesn't happen anymore. It's really not much more expensive than 20 lb paper maybe 75 cents a 500 pack but its worth the cost difference if you use it for multi purpose. Georgia pacific makes the 24 lb too... Personal experience the brand doesn't matter.. It's the 20,24 etc pound rating that matters..l that's how they judge thickness. Even the SAMs club and Walmart off brands offer the 24 lb papers

I think it's my print setting too, I'm trying to look for that.

Mine is the 20lb. Next time I will try the 24. I think this and changing my print setting should do it. Thanks !!

Your welcome. I love the feel of the 24 lb and its not at all like the card stock so that not an issue. It comes in colors too though
