    First Interview

I have my first interview tomorrow night I'm excited, but then I keep remembering that these are the people that don't need me until September. So even if they do like me and want their baby to come here, it's not like I'll be starting next week.

It's a start though ... hoping it sets off a fanastic domino effect and I'm full next week, hahaha.

Here's to hoping they will reschedule soon!

I just had my first interview this morning, too!!! OMG, I was SOOOO nervous. I felt like I had NO idea what I was doing! They are looking for care starting in May but I'm not officially opening until Sept. and they still wanted to interview with me.

I have my second interview tomorrow afternoon and they are also looking for care in Sept. I am still freaking out! I wish I could just hand them my paperwork at the door, send them on their way and tell them to bring their kid back if they want me to care for them. I am so bad with this whole interview process!!

Btw- I have noticed that I've gotten a lot of calls in the last 10 days or so and I'm not even listed with a referral agency yet. This seems to be a good time for people looking for care. Wishing you lots of luck!! happyface

Thank you! Good luck to you, too

I am very nervous for the actual interview part as well ... I'm planning it all out in my head, but I know the second they show up at the door I will forget everything and just stumble around like a bumbling idiot, haha.... hopefully not!

LOL. That's exactly how I felt. I'm not sure how many times I said "Uh" and "Um" but it was a lot! And then I wasn't sure if I should read the handbook TO them or have them take it home and read it. I ended up flipping through a few pages and telling them some of what was in there but then just asked if they wanted to take it home to look it over and get back to me. I just felt weird reading all those pages to them. I dunno. And then I pretty much apologized for it being so strict and for them not to worry, I'm not really that mean. I know, I know. Backbone.... It's so much easier on paper than in person though.... Ugh!
Hopefully I won't be as bad tomorrow.
