I have had to change diapers on the city bus, on a park bench, in cars, counter tops, etc. In the billion diapers I've changed I've yet to get poop or pee on anything!

Nothing sanitary done at all ! Not a pad, not a wipe - nothing. I am get that sometimes it's an emergency, but they were so close to leaving that everyone in their party was standing and waiting on him to finish. Why not do it in the car ?

It was pee. If it had been poop, I probably would have had to say something. To meal dealing with any type of body fluid/function in the same vicinity where people who are eating, can see is just innappropriate.

Also, I have been thinking about you lately. I frequently wonder where you are, and then remember about your baby. How is the baby doing ?

Aw, thanks for thinking of me I am still here... just not as often, obviously! Baby is doing fantatsic. She's very quiet, sweet and calm - we are so blessed!

Oh... and the whole idea that the parent didn't use a change pad, or even wipe the seat after - GROSS! I'd be upset too!

It's against health code laws in my state. A restaurant is supposed to kick out anyone who tries it. There was a situation a while back where a women actually sat her twin kids on potty chairs at a restaurant! The restaurant didn't notice until somebody took a photo!!!

Personally? I think it's inappropriate. I wouldn't do it for the following reasons (in order): don't want a pedophile to see, it's unsanitary and it's somewhat lazy.

With that being said, I wouldn't be too offended if someone else did it unless it was a soiled diaper or they left the soiled diaper there. I guess I'm the type who really tries not to judge others in public unless they are doing something that is really questionable. For example, I was at Wal-Mart at midnight (I know, strange, but I had to go pick something up) a couple of weeks ago and there was a women with 4 small children aged 2-8. The three older children were running around everywhere and the baby was screaming in the cart. The woman was yelling at the top of her lungs at them the entire time I was in that section ("shut up, sit down, I'm not getting you anything!"). Hello? It's midnight?! No wonder why they are acting crazy!

Hate to say it, but I've done it. We were in Pizza Hut recently...no changing table. We were in the corner, and my hubby shielded the view. I changed the diaper in two minutes right in the booth beside me. Management doesn't like it, they can put a changing table in the bathroom.
