    Outdoor Toys

What outdoor toys do you have? Right now, I have hula hoops, balls, one car, and bubbles. I know I need to add, but I'm wondering what you all have had the most success with.

    Thanks!

We have several climbers, sand box, water table, chalk, balls, bubbles, orange cones, ride on toys, and a lawnmower. I'd like to get a little parachute.

I have a play house, climber/slide combo, picnic table (I bought these over time not all at once), cozy coupe with gas pump, 2 tyke bikes, rocking horse type thing. Then bubbles, sidewalk chalk, sand/water table (I prefer this over sandboxes because they stand around it and don't sit in the sand), balls, larger plastic trucks, lawn mower, 2 Fisher Price corn poppers (got tired of the noise inside so brought them out), a broom and dustpan. I also have a kiddie sprinkler and usually get it out when I do the water table.

Just a note from experience if you're just opening. Even the nicest molded plastic toys cannot be left outside because somehow they get rain water in them. They don't appear to have any openings but it gets in there. I've had it happen with some little rocking horse toys and other small things like tyke bikes. The only things that don't stay under cover at night are the house, climber and picnic table.

Also, I've never done it...yet...but there is paint made to paint those climbers/houses, etc. I've seen them redone on the internet. So when the sun fades them you can paint them.

I love all these posts. I'm getting more ideas.

I love your idea of plastic flowers to plant in the sand. I had never thought of that even though indoors I give them plastic flowers to arrange in small vases.

We have an 8-in-1 climber, a playhouse, chalk, bubbles, balls, a water table, cars/construction toys, Cozy Coupe, fingerpaints. I just started 7 mos ago & so far only have one other kid. I'm looking forward to shopping garage sales though. Honestly, I'm a less-is-more kind of person. I dislike clutter. I might get some little stuff or hula hoops, but I'm not big on a lot of plastic stuff all over the place. Besides, we have a small yard.
