Have any of you used ProviderWatch.com to report a parent? If yes, what exactly you need to know about the parent? Do you wait after the court judgement?
Any advice?
I've never heard of this, so I had to google it. I wouldn't use this, personally. Just because someone is a bad apple for me, they may taste great to someone else. I wouldn't take anyone else's opinion on a potential client too seriously either, unless I knew the whole situation....
I also wouldn't want to present myself in a poor light by 'bad mouthing' a previous client.
I added a client on there after they refused to pay fees ($220) and a failure to abide by policies. All factual, no opinions. No badmouthing. It is what it is.
I didn't add in there that they then begged for their spot back, have badmouthed me for the past year, etc. etc. etc.
I never went to court. I just added both parent's names and some other basic information.
In our community, the Mom is known for being a "drama mama" and a bully. It's unfortunate.

That's exactly what is going on, DCP has bad mouth me already. Talking about me on his FC...I turned out to be "unreliable, unprofessional, and a liar" after this DCP was one of the people who always posted good things about me on my fb page.
Please take this with a grain of salt, BUT stop. Do not stoop to this man's level. Walk away from this type of situation. I understand that you're upset and hurt but let it go. People who know you, know the truth. You do not need to defend yourself. Block yourself from his facebook page and don't read it.
If you so decide to take this to small claims court, you don't want anything in print that could be used against your case.
Does the DCP owe you money? If so, that's what ProviderWatch is for. If they do not owe you any money then you can't add them to the system. You're not supposed to add DCP's to it for any other reason. HTH
ETA: I just saw that you asked about waiting for a court judgment... which (duh!) would imply that they owe you money. Sorry 'bout that!

Exactly heat she says is what ProviderWatch is for. It's a reporting agency for when clients leave owing you money. As soon as the client pays you, you remove it. It should never be used for anything other than for what it was intended. If you would report the DCP to a credit reporting agency for your entitled money owed then you should also report it to to ProviderWatch.
The only info you need, from what I can remember, is their names and general info. I doubt you'd need to input things like address, DOB etc. Just a general city and the amount they owe.
