I have a 13 month old DCB that has been somewhat of a PITA as an infant, but I stuck it out (had term letter in my back pocket for months!). He doesn't nap well, but is otherwise a great little guy.
So yesterday, I have the IKEA hamper mesh holder currently holding all our play balls. He LOVES to dump it over and spread the balls everywhere. Since it was 10 minutes till closing, I had purposely blocked off these balls. He would hold his hands up to signal 'uppies' and I would pick him up, he would throw his arms around me in an hug (complete with head on shoulder, rub the back!) and give me a huge kiss... then points to the balls. I said "No Bucket of Balls, buddy"... he makes a stinky face. Then hug, kiss & point, more stinky face. ...rinse and repeat! I can see how it works at his house, I'd have a hard time saying NO
