Yes, we have a rider (a LARGE one) but I prefer to use the push mower. Lots of exercise and somehow oddly satisfying.
Exactly! Its like instant gratification for your hard work. AND its good "me time" with my headphones and thoughts, plus its a killer workout. I love it!

I love mowing the lawn but hubs want the boys doing it-

My 11 year old has just started it, well once and then it has poured for 3 weeks. Our grass wasn't that high all year but now its WAY tall and I'm afraid he will get lost out there when he does go to mow it.

We haven't been able to go outside for the rain and now with as tall as the grass is, I'm afraid of the little ones not being able to run/walk very well till we get it down.

As a teen, early 20's, I used to mow the back yard in just bikini bottoms, no top.

If I was in fairly good shape I would mow the yards in a sports bra and shorts.

I don't know if that will fly here. I live on main street on the edge of town. hahaha Although I'm sure a few people might appreciate it. ::

Our back was fenced in. But I often did the yards in my bikini.

I, personally, wouldn't because the small community I live in GAWKS at me (in fact, they will pull over and WATCH me) simply mowing in whatever. I tend to wear knee length skirts when it's hot out and a shirt that matches, or if I'm feeling especially brave I'll wear shorts (they just make me uncomfortable LOL).

If your neighbors don't pull over and gawk then DO IT!!!

I think it is ok as long as it's after DC hours. It i hot here, too, about 80 degrees, sort of muggy as we had an afternoon rain shower. But, spring has finally arrived! Or is it summer, ?

It was 91 degrees here. On April 10. And I'm preggo. And swollen. They were lucky I didn't go to work in a bra and shorts (I wouldn't have wanted to scar the children though )

If you feel comfortable doing it and it is not during daycare hours, go for it. happyface

I would NEVER do it. My neighbors would all get sick and move away. I don't even swim at my own house if non family members are present. Pleasantly plump does not look good while jiggling through the yard!

Off topic, but this is why I run at night! People say "aren't you exhausted all day after running a daycare?" Yeah, that's why I do something EASIER with my evenings! :: I have 3 kids and a husband at home, so that is my ONLY quiet time, besides 4:30am.

I mow in shorts and one of those tanks with the built in bra. I love them, I buy them in 2 packs at Costco. Also from Oregon, and also wishing for your sun!

I hate all of you who have a sunny hot day today its april 12th, and I once again have to put snowpants on kids, and had to shovel snow this morning, if we could just have a nice hot sunny day in the next 2 weeks I'd run outside naked to celebrate.................wear the sports bra no one cares, except maybe the wives of the husbands next door if the weather isn't the only thing smokin hot outside!! ::::::::
