    Bibs for Toddlers

I start a new DCB today that puts me with 2 18 month olds. They have out-grown the typical bibs and I need suggestions for bibs that will last. Any suggestions?

I've been looking also. I like waterproof bibs, preferably with a "pocket" to catch food. I have 2 one-year olds ,and the bibs I have are a little too small for them.

I wish they would make large bibs for 2 and 3 yr olds. They make them for adults but why not toddlers.

I use old adult t-shirts that I get at thrift stores. They completely cover the child. We use them for painting too to protect their clothes.

In a pinch, I would just use a large kitchen towel & a clothespin in the back. *or* I have a snapper tool (to put plastic snaps on things), and that was rather handy for making bibs out of towels, too. I hated velcro, so would switch out the velcro for snaps on clothing & bibs, too.

I never liked the bibs (or shirts) that pull over the head.

I had knit & crocheted a TON of drool bibs when I first started the younger of the two a year ago but they no longer fit.... I wish I had the time to just make larger one because they work so well but the new DCB starts today...interview was Sunday....not much notice. It was all I could do to find another crib in time. My Hubby is going to look for some today. I just don't see spending $75 on 10 bibs !

The Bibs from Ikea. They have arms, are waterproof, and have a pocket. They fit up to about 3 years. I just throw them in the wash with my other kitchen laundry.

IKEA bibs. They are larger for about 18 mo and up. They have sleeves too.

$16 per bib? Holy ChaChing Batman. Worth a drive to Ikea. I think theirs are $3-$4 for a two pack. I will go to there this weekend and ship some to you OP,
how many do you want. Just PM me.
