I am wondering where all of you have found your cubbies and daycare tables. Right now I do not have any cubbies and I think it would help me so much if I bought them for organization of each child. Right now I use little tykes picnic tables for lunch, art etc and I want to give the children more space to work with so I would like to get an actual table like you see in daycare facilities. I found some on www.schooloutfitters.com and they seem reseasonable just didn't know if anyone knows of a cheaper website. I was thinking about waiting around for garage sales but I think things like that go so quick from my past experience so they are usually already sold when I get to them. Thanks!

I like the kids furniture that Ikea has. Here is a link with the kids tables. I really the like two blue ones, the price is pretty good too! http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/ca...ns_ikea/18768/- Flag

This is a great idea, because you could probably find a used dining table at a garage sale or craigs list etc for very cheap.- Flag

I built my cubby myself, and my table & chairs (rectangle, preschool table that seats 6- which is my max capacity) came from a provider that was closing.- Flag

I have purchased tables from Walmart. They are about 5-6 feet long and 2 feet wide. They fold in half and the legs fold up for very easy storage. I like to fold mine away on the weekends or evenings to get them out of the way since I use my entire kitchen and living room for daycare...I no longer have a sofa, recliner or tv in my living room, and I no longer have a dining table. It's allllll daycare (which I don't mind).
The folding table only cost about 35.00. The only thing I don't like about it is that it slides on the floor and the kids are constantly pulling it towards them, or pushing it away from them when getting up and down from their chairs. I want to get the tennis balls like older people use for their walkers to keep the table from sliding so much.
I love the ease of being able to fold them and store them, rather than having regular daycare tables that don't fold up (I only assume this...never checked them out). I fold mine and store it between my washer and dryer...that's how little space they take up and I can easily put two there (One on top of the other)
Oh, yeah...the legs are adjustable also so you can make it at three different heights...another thing I love as I can accomodate SA kids, or preschoolers as needed, or even use the tables for holidays when they are full height to hold additional food. Multipurpose.- Flag

If you have your heart set on a preschool looking table (I have one and love it), Kaplan has their red one on clearance for a really good price.

I was lucky to find a cubby set on Craig'slist for cheap. Wait patiently and keep looking and you will find something.
I have the sansad Ikea table, made for four kids but actually fits 6 comfortably. I found this on craigslist cheap too.
Tag sales are the best! Cheaper than craigslist!- Flag

Just remembered another idea I used when I had daycare years and years ago...in a different house.
My husband had gotten some kind of wood that was probably close to 2 inches thick and had a nice laminated top on it...very hard wood. We cut it into 6 foot sections, and it was about 2-2 1/2 foot wide. We got hinges and hinged them (I had two of them) onto the wall. Then we had hinged legs on them. When I wasn't using them, I could fold them up against the wall and the legs also folded down. I used a lock to lock them into place when they were against the wall. They were VERY sturdy, and convenient being folded away like that.
I don't have anyplace where I am now that I could do this with, but if I did, I'd definitely do it again.- Flag

My table is from Discount School Supply and I got it for around $160 and its like a preschool table. I got the chairs from there too for about $15 a pop.
My cubbies I got from Lowe's but they're the 9 cubby shelf ones by Closetmaid that you can get at Target, Wal-Mart, etc. I got it for under $60 and the canvas drawer bins that go in them were another $7 per drawer.- Flag

Ikea is the best!! I got 2 of these tables http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/40147180/ and I love them! You can adjust the height and they wipe down sooooo easily. Despite the fact that we do art projects pretty much all day, they still look brand new. We even dyed easter eggs on them and made quite a mess but the table tops are STILL white. Love love LOVE this purchase.- Flag

I bought a table and 6 plastic chairs from www.ecmdstore.com when I started my daycare 12 years ago and am still using the same stuff and its still in perfect condition!!!! Not sure if they are the cheapest around as the online selection 12 years ago was no where near what it is now but I have compared prices on other things they sell and they seem to be about the same as all the other suppliers.- Flag
