Have You Ever Taken Daycare Kids Out Of State?

I'm wondering if you've ever taken your daycare kids out of state IF you live close to the border?

I'm planning a trip to the zoo. My local zoo is over an hr and it's very tiny. But one of the biggest zoo's around is in another state and only an hr away. I know school's can take kids to other states (with parents permission) but can licensed daycare's? (with parents permission)

I would check with your licensor. I know of other licensed providers who have done it, so as long as permission is given/signed I see no issue with it. I live close to the Vermont border and have heard of providers taking their kids to sugaring house tours there.

That is a good question. I was thinking about possibly doing this also.

Yes, I live on the border and my dentist etc are in another state. I have the parents sign just like any other trip in my car. (rarely do I have to take kidlets but every once in a while) Get signed permission slips.
