    Food Program Training?

I have a lady coming by tomorrow to train me for the food program...and they told me at the last minute it's 2 hours long. Really???Has anyone done this? Guess I'll be popping in a movie and hoping my kids behave during the rest of free play.

I've done it, and yes, it will take several hours. Try to keep chit-chat to a minimum and that will help. Listen really well the first time so she doesn't have to repeat herself. Don't ask questions ( - you can always call her later say during rest time or some other down time - if you don't understand something). Know ahead of time how you want to report (on paper or online). All of the above should shave a little time off, but still be prepared for at least an hour and a half. If this person is any good at what she does, she will understand and pause if you need to get up to feed someone, change a diaper, redirect or whatever. In fact, that may be why they say to allow for 2 hours, because they are allowing for interruptions.
