    Looking For New Shelves

I am now using a set of red, yellow and blue shelves from walmart and a set of white. one of the colored ones is just about broken and I want to get more. I am looking for ideas. I use them to section off areas and while I like the bin ones from Ikea, I cant keep buying bins when they break.

I use all natural shelves from Discount School Supply. They were pricey up front but they are very, very sturdy.

I use these from Discount School...They are the value line. Inexpensive ($132.95), look great, sturdy, and easy to assemble. Plus fast and free shipping! I also have the value line easel. I like to use natural colors/wood, but if you prefer colors they also have those as well (not in the value line so they might be a bit more $)

I found white plastic ones at Home Depot many years ago. They have shelves with round tubes in between, and can be taken apart very easily so you can have 2 levels, 3 levels, etc as high or low as you want. They're also very light so I move them aside when we do music and movement. Oh, and the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works wonders to clean them!

I use the IKEA expedit line for all my shelving. I don't use the IKEA "cubes" though. I get the closetmaid ones from target, or Amazon, and they are a little cheaper to replace. I also use the shelving to section off "rooms" in the daycare and it works out great. I am even using the 2x2 one for a changing table b/c it fits in my bathroom perfectly.

And....I got most of them on Craigslist for half of what they cost in the store

I also have the white which are sturdier but they DO show dirt more. I like the idea of more furniture looking than kiddy, but they might get scratched...uhhhhh, Ill have to really think about it! I also like that the ones I have are open on both front and back because I can see through them to see kids at all times.
