You know I keep thinking if the mom would have just called me that night and said boyfriend is drunk and I have to go to work I would have taken them. I have always worried about these two, and yes called CPS numerous times. I have offered before for her to just give them to me. I wish the morning after this all happened she would have brought the little girl over before CPS served her with the papers. She could have then stayed with me because she would have been safe. I have said since the little girl was a baby she didn't stand a chance.. hopefully now she might but so sad that it had to take my little guys life for that to happen.

Bad parents will never admit that they're a bad parent unless it's for attention.
My adopted son's biological mother still thinks she was a good one (abuse/neglect...). I'm amazed my son lived.
