I see what you guys mean about pricing it all the same, but I am thinking about marketing and getting my spots filled.
If I charge for example 150 across the board, that means I am charging really low and will attract lots of people for infant care in my area, but for preschoolers it is a high rate and I may not get any calls for those ages because the average rate is 135 for that age. Therefore I staggered my prices in order to be competitive in the ages and the job market.

I guess it depends on what ages you are trying to attract. Since I am at $35/day $175/wk, I am getting the newborns/infants, but that is what I want and I know I can get good money for them. Even my toddler rate is high at $30/day $150/wk, but that's to make babies that grow into toddlers leave when they turn 2 1/2, since I do not accept toddlers into care, but they all grow up! I would never be able to get $175/wk for a toddler. I would rather fill my slots with infants for $175/wk rather than a preschooler for $100-125...

MUCH less room. I have 2 Radian XTSL's and a safety first complete air and 2 britax marathons.

The radians are in the captains chairs and the third row has the 2 marathons outboard and the complete air in the center.

I used the fee that I charge each year to apply toward what I spent on carseats, and then I look for good deals. I got the radians for right at $200 each, the complete air was gifted and the marathons were $60 each on clearence at target last year.

I can load the third row through the trunk (take the headrests off). The captains chairs have the 4yo and 3yo (since the XTSLs go to 45# rear facing)

I use to charge only $5 more for infants-potty trained but now I charge the same from newborn-kindergarten. It wasn't beneficial to me because each age has it's own "issues" that need to be taken care of. Infants are more needy than toddlers but I provider a curriculum for my toddlers. If anything I should be charging more for toddlers.
