THIS Is Why I Don't Like SA Kids!!!

I have custody of my 2 SA grandkids and there's a half day of school today. USUALLY when the kids are out of school I will allow my grandkids to go some place during nap time. But...I now have a SA daycare kid so I have to make my granddaughter go to her room with the dcg who is the same age as her, so the little ones can nap.

I was just in the bathroom and my dog started barking and carrying on something awful. I hurried out the bathroom to find one of the dcg's friends pounding away at my door, which is right in the same room as my napping kids.

Luckily none of the kids woke up as they've only been down for 30 minutes but I'm so angry!!!!

I'm sorry! Glad they didn't wake anyone up!

I do wonder why your granddaughter had to take on the school ager - that wouldn't fly here. If I didn't have a space for them, then I can't take them. They are not allowed in bedrooms.

I let the kids who are the same ages as my kids to occasionally play with them outside of the daycare rooms, but not often. The few times I have something has gone badly, so I think we are squashing that.

I know how you feel when your dck's may potentially be woke from nap. A good rest time can make or break my day! Just putting that into works seems a little ridiculous! But it's the truth, and nobody knows it better than a daycare provider.....My young neighbor, who is friends with my adult son, and my neighbors' two screaming toddlers came ringing the doorbell about 30 mins into nap time the other day.... and I shot daggers with my eyes as I angrily answered the door. I reminded him for the umpteenth time, that rest time is from 1-3pm! Poor guy....if he could've read my mind...It's serious business when you wake up six sleeping toddlers an hour and a half early!!
