My CPA is done so I just mailed in my check for last year. Now I just have to send in this years first quarterly payment. I felt a small piece of me die inside when I sent in the check. ::

I'm dying this year. I did make quarterly payments but I also made more money. Darn!

Having mine done tomorrow, Hoping for good news(less than $500 owed), I wonder if everyone would mind listing their Gross income, their adjusted income, how much they owed, or didn't owe, if their spouse has more withheld through his checks, I think we all get curious to see how everyone else pans out, even though all our situations are very different.

I haven't done mine yet. Being that I just started January 2012 and only had one kid for the first 6 months I didn't make a lot of money and I will be eligible for the earned income credit this year so I'm waiting to do mine as we are planning to use it to take a much needed vacation and in no hurry to receive it yet.

didn't do mine yet either. not sure how you owe, only time we owed was when my dh claimed so many that they didn't take anything out of his check

I JUST finished organizing and adding everything up for the accountant. Now we've got to set up the appt. and find out how bad it is.
Last year everything was totally messed up with my dh's housing allowance-it was the first year he got it and church did everything wrong. The good thing was we got a bunch back because they basically paid double taxes in for him. This year I think we'll owe a bit-hopefully not too much!
One of these years I'm going to have taxes done BEFORE I have to fill out the FAFSA's! It's so much easier that way, yet never works for us.

I haven't done mine. I don't even have an appointment to have them done. I do have all my stuff figured and ready though. Don't want to get the bad news any sooner than I have too!

Slacker over here too! El hub light a fire under my bum too as some of the kick back money is paying for a trip we are going to take our son on in July for his 4th bday. Gotta get on it more this weekend but I just can't. 4th year and I. Just. Can't. Get. Motivated.

I open ip my calendar keeper and I think I hear a little scream. Or maybe I let out a little scream? Either way, it sounds painful.

I'm always done in early January. I spend 1/2 hour to an hour each month organizing and filing receipts and bills so at the end of the year it's a sinch!
This year my husband's return covered all but A DOLLAR of what I owed :: I'm STOKED! Last year was brutal!

My tax preparer HATES me for being so slow. Thank goodness she is DH's aunt so that help.
