    Wia

Does anyone here participate on the WIA program offered through your local workforce office? I have not recieved a payment in a month. Do you think I would be wrong if I issued a term letter to the dcp? They pay her entire rate so I know it is not her fault, but I need to get paid!

What is WIA? I'm assuming its a subsidy program right? I started a new dcb on February 18 2013 and just today I received payment for that. They are always 1 month behind.

    Hope that helped

Yes it's a subsidy program offered through the employment office that provides support to participants to increase their education, training, employment, earnings and what have you.

They always pay every two weeks. I was under the impression that all the neccessary paperwork was turned in. Come to find out that the dcm hadn't turned in her attendance sheet is why I haven't got paid. I usually turn all the paperwork in, but this particular time the mom informed me that she had already sent her form in. Well long story short, she lied!

Considering she flat out lied, I would term. She knew you weren't going to get paid for that time yet attempted to convince you that you would by saying she had turned the paperwork in.

I once had a dcm who had been fired from a job and continued to bring her kids as though she was going to work. I got a refusal letter for payment and when I called her place of employment discovered she had no longer been working.

I'd be concerned as to whether your dcm was still participating in the program and if she's going to lie to you about that, then what else is she lying to you about.

That was/is my biggest concern. " what else will she lie about?"

When the check didn't come, I called to verify that she was still on the program and that's how I found out that she hadn't turned in her paperwork. I was highly pissed when I found out that she lied and I immediately typed up her a term letter!
