Do You Take Good Friday Off?

Normally I would not have taken it off, but it's the last chance I get to see my daughter who lives out of state (7 hours away) before she moves 18 hours away so I decided to close for that day to go see my family.

Since it wasn't on my regular list of paid days off I will be off without pay...however I've decided I will begin taking it off WITH pay starting next year.

I don't close for it, but I don't think I've ever worked it because parents have always had off and choose to keep their kids home

I'm open. I don't think any of my parents have that off. Wish I had taken it as it is the first day of my kids Spring Break and would've been nice to have a day with just them.

I am closed with pay for both Good Friday and Easter Monday. I look forward to this weekend EVERY YEAR!!

I have 1 DCB that is 12 months old and comes 4 days a week (Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri)... I'm guessing they'll want to bring him Thurs so they don't have to pay for a day off. I don't allow that since it could potentially bring me over my numbers on Thursdays... but it's not going to stop them from asking.

Ditto, none of my families take the day so I am open. However this year its spring break so most of my kids won't be here (DCPs are college employees and/or students) so I'm hoping I'll end up with an extra day off!!

Closed & unpaid. Well except for my teachers kids, who pay a flat monthly rate. So, we will say closed & partially paid.
