    Strep Throat

Well yesterday I informed all parents about my daughters condition most parents were like whatever and one particular gave me that look thinking I was going to say "I am closing" as soon as I said no I am not her face changed . Anyhow... All parents decided to bring their kids knowing that they have been exposed and that they will continue being exposed.
An another note... Can you believe my dd doctor hasn't calle in her antibiotics? It's so unprofessional for her to do that, she knows I run a daycare and cannot pick up the prescription. She said she would try to call it in ugh!!!

I don't close for strep either...it's not incredibly contagious, and it's easy to fix, and they've all been exposed to it anyway. To me, strep isn't a huge deal.

Why didn't the doctor hand you a prescription? Was she expecting you to go home and hope for the best?

She went to the doctor last week with symptoms since I had it too. The doctor refuse to give her anything until she new for sure she had it. I barely got the results yesterday so I asked the doctor to call in a prescription but said she was too busy but that she was going to try

Lots of Doctor's around here are doing the same thing. NO prescribed meds until positive test results.

They say it is in an effort to curb the over use of antibiotics.
