    3 month old eating/sleeping?'s

Another 3 month old with sleeping eating issues.

I care for a 13 week old infant who does not sleep more than 1/2 hour at a time.

Child will not drink more than 2 ounces at a time. I wiggle him, talk to, walk with this child to be a little more aggressive when eating...to no avail. Child has some bottles of breast milk and some formula. Mom having trouble providing enough milk.

Child does have acid reflux problems and gets medication before and after day care.

child does sleep in one of those fisher price infant sleepers that are close to the child on each side and sits at an angle at home. I have the child in a pnp and is trying to adjust to sleeping flat.

Went down today at 8:30, awake by 9:00. Monday the sleep pattern was sleeping in 15 minute increments.

This infant isn't real fussy but I am always trying to figure out if child is tired or hungry. We go around and around all day.

Nanny De stresses 45 min. Of tummy time but child screams after 5 min. And screams and screams. How long does it take to adjust to tummy time?

The youngest child I have ever cared for has been 6 mo.

    TIA!!!

well, I should count my blessings that my little one sleeps flat, at least.

I have learned to wait and let her fuss for a few minutes (as long as she's not all out screaming) before I go get her up. She very often crabs for a moment during naps, then goes right back to sleep. Yesterday, I tried a sleep-sack because ds' room is cool, and she did less of that...the day she slept a total of 7 hours.

I have been trying a sleep sack today and yesterday and more tummy time.

      Today slept 8:15-8:45 & 10:00-10:45.

Has eaten 2 oz. I have also been trying to see if I wait a bit to see if they go back to sleep. I just don't think this child gets into deep sleep.

Thank you for your post!! I appreciate it.
