I've had a set of parents who have packed their child's lunch everyday since the child started. I provide lunch with all my kids and the parent has always been nice enough to pack their child's lunch so I wouldn't have to. It's convenient how on the last two days of care before the child starts preschool they have "run out of food and forgot the lunch box". I know I shouldn't be bitter as it wasn't something I expected in the first place, but I wasn't planning a meal for this child on either day since he usually packs. Now, instead of having enough daycare food (because I don't), I have to feed him my own families expensive organic food. Just venting...
