    What's Your Daily Routine?

Im sure there have been plenty of posts about this but I can't seem to find any.

What does your daily routine look like and the ages of your kids?

PS I have three 15months old at the moment.

6:00-6:20: first dcgs arrive/ I wake up my oldest ds and start getting him ready for school.

6:20-7:00: dcgs usually lay on the couch because they are still very sleepy. I get my ds fed and out the door to the bus, dcb1 arrives.

7:00-8:00: dcbs 2 and 3 arrive, my youngest ds wakes up, breakfast.

8:00-8:30: clean up from breakfast, diaper changes, potty, wash hands, change out of pjs

8:30-9:15: upstairs to the "classroom" for alphabet practice, counting, colors, reading, whatever theme we are doing. Sensory play if we have time.

9:15-930: free play while I make snack

    9:30-9:45: snack time

9:45-10:00: wash hands, potty, diaper change, get socks, shoes and jacket on while I clean up snack.

    10:00-11:00: outside time

11:00-11:15ish: wash hands, potty, diaper change, hang up coats, put shoes in cubby. Circle time. We usually take this time to talk about being a good friend, practice manners, introductions. It's really a small reminder time.

11:15ish-12:00: free play while I make lunch

    12:00-12:30: lunch time

12:30-1:00: wash hands, potty, diaper change, get pillows blankets and nap mats. Watch 1 show.

1:00-3:00: nap time. I usually do paper work, clean up lunch if I still need too, get on here or just rest

3:00-3:30: wake up, put nap supplies away, potty, diaper change, free play while I make snack.

    3:30-4:00: snack dcb 1 2 and 3 all leave.

4:00-5:00: sensory play, manipulatives, play dough or go back outside. We rotate. Dcgs leave. Oldest ds gets off of the bus @ 4:35, I feed him and he goes to play with us if he wants or goes to his room to play with his toys or watch tv.

5:00-5:30: I pick up toys, vacuum, mop, disinfect and collapse

Open at 7:30am (free play while I prepare breakfast)
      Breakfast 8-8:30am
Free play while I clean up breakfast
If free play is going well, I'll sit on the floor and play with them. As we play we'll discuss colors, counting, shapes, etc.
Next is story time. Everyone grabs a book and we sit on the floor and read. Often when I am done reading, the kids will still sit and "read" on their own.
We'll have reading or free play or music/dance or outdoor time (weather permitting) until about 10:45am and then we clean up
We do our daily preschool curriculum next and they practice writing their names or color while I prepare and plate their meals. We also sing songs during this time.
      lunch at 11:30-12
After lunch the kids get to watch an educational movie while I clean up and they get settled down for nap time
      Nap from 1-3
      snack 3-3:30pm
Free play and outdoor time the rest of the day (I help my own kids with homework at this time or my kids will read books to the daycare kids)
As kids start leaving I'll start my clean up of the day (vacuum/mop, etc) so that it's all done by the time I close.

I open up at 6a.m., but of course noone shows up until 7:30. So that gives me time to do my laundry and clean up a bit. I decided to stick to this time until April 1st in case the parents I contracted it for needed to come that early again.

        7:30-8:00: Arrival times/Free play

        8:30-9:00: Breakfast time

        9:00-9:30: Clean-up

9:30-10:30: Cirlce time, we sing, alphabet, days of the week, and months of the year song. We go over our shapes, colors and count. Then we talk about manners.

10:30-11:00: Children select an activity of their choice or join in a noisy group activity like finger painting, water play, sand table, blocks, colors, play dough

11:10ish-12:00: free play while I make lunch

        12:00-12:30: Lunch time

        12:40-2:40: Nap time

        2:40-3:00- snack time

        3:00-4:00-movie time

4:00-6:00: free time outside if the weather permit
