I'm currently using a hanging closet shoe organizer to store my daycare kids' bedding and they don't get pillows because they won't fit. I am looking for a new and better solution but I don't have much space. Licensing states the kids' bedding must be stored separately from each other. I'm wondering what solutions other providers are using for this?

I do the zippered laundry bag to avoid the whole "must be stored separately" rule/regulation.- Flag

I'm not much help because I keep the beds setup all the time in another room.
My suggestion is that you can put each child's things in a ziplock bag so they can be together.- Flag

I never really gave much thought to this. We are required to have separate bedding for each child, but I don't recall having a regulation for storing things separately. But now that I see it mentioned, I want to start!- Flag

Are these like the mesh bags? Where did you get yours?

I think I bought them at Target (under $5 each) when they do the whole "college line" in the Fall.- Flag

I have cubbies made out of crates. I use the plastic shoe boxes for spare clothes and blankets on top, dont really use pillows but they would probably fit- Flag

I have the zippered bags like BC, although mine are vinyl, I got them from another provider when she closed shop, so I'm no help there. It fits a travel size pillow and pretty large fleece blanket.- Flag

Each kid has a pillow, mat and blanket that I store in separate Kitchen-size garbage bags and place on a shelf in a closet. I like the idea of the laundry bags, though. The garbage bags rip easily and have to be replaced every few months.- Flag

I wish I knew how to share pics! I just solved this about 3 mos ago. I had each parent buy one of those reusable grocery bags or an un zippered tote. Each child has a blanket and a small travel pillow, they are stored on low hooks so they can get their own bedtime bag and go to sleep. When they wake they put everything back and put it on their hooks

The zipper space saver bags would probably work too and they come in a variety of sizes. Our dollar store sometimes has no name versions of versions of them. Cheap but probably sturdier than a garbage bag.- Flag

I have a 6 cube storage shelf from target. The cubbies are huge and they can each fit their blanket and pillow pet in there. I don't know why but they all have those pillow pets,.

I have cots now and store their stuff right on the cot. We are allowed that as long as the items are not touching.
Before the cots I used the XL Ziplock bags (they come in a 4pk) and that would hold a travel pillow and blanket, lovey. Those all just want on a shelf in one of my closets.- Flag
