I'm actually having a good day (so far ) but it's been a long week with with some extra early hours...I am ready for 5:30, make a nice dinner, pour a glass (or 3) of wine, start a fire and catch up on my tivo!! Extra bonus: my kids are spending the night with grandma Saturday so DH & I can go out to a nice dinner and relax! It's been MONTHS since we have done anything alone

Long week...Nothing terrible happened... but long week regardless..
Went to be late last night... 10:45
Woke at 1:53 a.m. when hubby arrived home from his second shift job..
Woke up again at 4:11.. looked at the clock and thought oh good... still more time till alarm goes off... (5:40)..

Then I was RIPPED AWAKE at 5:35 by the phone ringing... jumped out of bed.. I rushed over to the 4 line phone system...
Worried that it was going to be bad news.... or MAD that it was a prank caller..
I answer...
This lady says...
OH... !! Is this Newland Furniture?
Yes....
Oh... I was calling because I thought I would get an answering machine...and it would tell me what your hours are..
In the background I can hear her washing dishes..
I say... we open at 9 a.m..
She says.. oh.. and what time do you close..

Oh ok... so.. does this ring through to your home?
Yes.... (it's 5:35 a.m... I'm in no mood to try to explain that I actually LIVE inside the building...and all 4 phone lines on the system ring in my private room/apartment)...

She says.. Oh I'm just so sorry.. I really assumed I'd just get an answering machine...

I went back to bed.. Had to explain to my husband who was on the phone...
NOW I'm WIDE AWAKE..
I got up and showered...
