Operation Baby Nap

12 monther. Sleeps 10 hrs a night & a grand total of 1.5 hrs here. Kid is a mess because she's so over tired.

So operation baby nap starts today. Wish me luck.

i think its normal for children to sleep 12 hours a night....and 1.5-3 hours during the day.

I would say at 12 months that 1.5 hours is the bare minimum they need. I would say typically I would expect 3-3.5 hours a day. (1-1.5 in the morning and 2-2.5 in the afternoon)

this seems like a lot to me! I can't remember my boy's sleeping this much. both slept through the night but, I don't think they napped for 3 hours at dc! I would think 2-2 1/2. good luck!!
