    Potty Training Question

    I am going to start potty training this week, no pull up just training undies so is going to be messy. What can I use to protect my sofa/chair and my carpet floor? My entire living room and bedroom area is carpet, so how can a try at least to keep the house smelling good? is there anything they sell to cover sofa's? Been looking in internet but found nothing. Oh! and what do you use to get stains off?

    I use Vinegar and Water to clean up any accidents. I also bought a little potty chair for her to use in the hallway (central location in our home). Not much privacy but easy location and she enjoyed the compliments she would get when others could see her going potty ALL BY HERSELF!

    Good Luck!!!

      they make trainers with a waterproof outside. or you can use plastic pants.

      I would not let her on the furniture unprotected unless she had just gone to the bathroom.
      It:: will wait

        I also make them wear plastic covers or a pull-up on top. I don't let them wear pull-ups alone, because I want them in underwear - but also don't want to clean up accidents.

          Go to walmart and buy a bunch of "Scotchguard for Carpets" its the one with the blue lid and about $3 a bottle. I live by this stuff!! At least once a month I scotchguard my carpets. That way anything wet sits on top like a water bubble! Do it over the weekend like right before you go to bed, in the morning when you wake up there might be white streaks, just get the vacuum out and they come right up!

            Wow! Nice will try to find that, never seen it before. Well in mean time i covered my carpet area, at least the area where they spend some time with a plastic furniture cover. I also got the training pants and those are really good, they keep things pretty much clean. Thanks!
