    Is today done?

Is going to be a long day, one to be written down in history book, one that I'm looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel, one that I'm already counting the hours down.

One SA today, just one with 5 preschoolers. Mom could find no back up for day off of school so they are coming here. A regular but all the others are staying home-all of them. I don't have enough room for a SA all day to be mixed in and its hard to mix in a SA when you do preschool.

Another child I have all day and rest of the family is staying home. One of my harder ones but family need to things done so they get to stay here today. I'm sure its going to be hard as they will know they had to come and everyone else is at home.

Do you ever have family come from out of town and then of course you can't do any visiting till 6:00! I rarely see my family and when I do, its always please don't come over till 6:00 and I can only see you maybe 2 hours as I'm wiped by the end of the day and have a ton to do in the evenings to get ready for the next day so no real visiting get done.

Also, I have been waking up very, very tired all week long and its taking me about 2 hours to fully wake up so I really don't want to deal with anyone in the mornings this week. I would love a day just to myself, to sleep, to watch tv, to sleep, to sleep, to sleep.

    OK, rant, vent, complaining, over-

      Thank you!!!!

I have a weird feeling that I may only end of with the SA-

One has called in, one is possibly going home sick, and I'm not sure about the other as there is no school for siblings so they may stay home now that I think about it.

Now, my son is totally mad because of the SA being here all day, someone he really doesn't play with and he just wants a down day. Then if I end up with just that one we are stuck home on his day off. We have relatives in town and it would be soooooooo nice to get to visit/go places with them today.

I totally feel you, I have a DCP that on no school days brings her oldest son to dc. It had been very hard for me to keep him entertained as I only have nothing but toddlers and 2 infants. However, when I only have a couple children like today for example, I go do my errands.
Question for you.... If you only have one SA why can't you take him/her with you?
Upon enrollment I have each parent sign a form giving me permission to take their child with me to go do errands, store, and even out of town.
