Closing Hours

I have contracted hours for each family, and I nevere contract BEFORE 7:30am or AFTER 5:00pm. I will not interview families who need care outside of these hours.. even if it's five minutes.

This is how I do it, too. I will never take a child before 7:30, and they have to be gone by 4:00. If that doesn't work for parents, then I do not take them or interview with them. I also make sure parents give me the exact hours they need, and do not tell them I am open from X -X, as that allows for the taking time that they don't need syndrome.

I was a bit more flexible in the beginning, because I wanted clients and wanted them fast. After the first year, I found I could be a bit more picky.
