In Need Of Toy Suggestions

I watch a three and four year old. I need some great learning toys that will keep them from being bored and keep them busy for 10-15 minutes. They are both girls and like to play with dolls, but that gets them wild. I also watch 3 infants so I'm trying to keep them from running around. We play with blocks, books, puzzles, play kitchen, dress up and that can all be done the first hour they are here.

My kids here love the magnetic boards that you can draw on then slide a little lever that erases it all. (I can't remember what they are called, magnadoodle?) They spend a lot of time creating with that thing. Dry Erease boards are popular too.

They also spend a lot of time with the leapfrog magnets spelling words. Books, blocks,

Create little jobs for them to do. set the table, take turns being the diaper helper - getting you diapers/wipes for infant diaper changes, have them organize toys....

Barbies?

Leapster or leapfrog have some fun electronic games for learning.

What about some simple sewing cards or beading things (a long thick string with a knot in the end and then some larger wooden "beads")? My 3.5 year old is loving playing Candyland ... it's easy enough for them to follow with not having to read anything.

Usually kids this age love a doll house with dolls, furniture, etc. you can buy just the furniture and dolls and they do quite well without the house. Not the little people house and little people but the Fisher Price doll house for older kids.

Right now my oldest are early two's. Both girls. They love playing with the baby stuff from my doll house. It is set up on a train table and they play with it every day. I have cribs, beds, babies, parents, animals, etc. out. Not the house yet.

I got all my doll house stuff at a rummage sale.

Usually 3/4 's will play awhile with playdoh.

I agree with magna doodles being attention grabbers.

I know some providers do not like markers but my 3/4's have always loved drawing on plain paper with markers ( washable).

Duplo blocks can be very engaging! (large legos)

For some reason they are not too into blocks. I will bring the baby dolls back out with the strollers and baby crib.

I will invest in some duplos I have mega blocks but they aren't the same. The do have a large dollhouse the play with for longer periods of time. Thanks
