About a week ago, I noticed water dripping from the ceiling while I was showering. It only happens when the shower is on. We called the landlord, left a message,no response. This weekend I noticed that the carpet in my bedroom closet was soaked with water! A lot of water! When I step into the closet I can literally hear the squish. My husband called the landlord on Sunday evening to let him know. He told us to call his maintainence guy in the morning. I called the maintainence man yesterday morning and left a message. He called back and told me that he would not be here until the following morning(today). He then changed his mind and told me that he woud be here yesterday at 4:00 PM. I spent all of the day emptying my closet and moving things out of the restroom for his convenience. I only had one dcg yesterday because of the holdiay. She hasn't been napping well and is easy going , so I let her stay up and pay with my dd's. Dcg left early, and I needed to go to the store at around 3:30 yesterday. I called the maintainence man to see if he was on the way and to tell him that I was running to the store and would be back soon. He then told me that he was stil at another house and would not even be coming that day. I guess he wasn't going to call. Whole day disrupted waiting around for him. I am moving in about a month btw, so I had to move boxes around for him and all types of drama. Today we were off schedue waiting on him again. We didn't go outside before 10 because we were not sure if he would be a little early. We usually walk to the park, and haven;t been going in the backyard because of some other stuff that he is supposed to be fixing. He calls right before 10 and says he will be a little late, but will be here before 12. Again we do not walk to the park. It is now 12:30. No word from him. I won't be putting them down for nap because my dc room is in the dining room. This is smack dab in the middle of the house. The kids would not be able to sleep through the hard steps of work boots stomping over the foam playroom mats should he decide to show up for work today. Here we sit waiting no nap, no outside time. Waiting while water floods my closet. I know that you guys can not help me with this. I just needed to get it out there and tell someone. 2 days thrown completey off. Thank goodness I'm out of here by the end of March.

I'd be concerned about mold specifically, and damage to my property.

He just showedup at 1:00. I am also concerned about mold. the smell is terrible. I have a very hightened sense of smell, and have not had an appetite lately. I didn't even drink my morning cup of coffee today. It is pretty bad. Of course I am even more concerend having other people's children here.Comment
