My daughter arrived from out of state last night at 10 pm, I had asked to keep my 2 yo granddaughter for the night. I didn't get her to sleep until midnight and then I was having a hard time falling asleep myself, so I'm so thankful today that my dck's go to sleep so easily...and for at least 2 hours.

I usually let go with a very loud WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!! as soon as my last one leaves out of ear shot on Friday's...but I'm thinking tonight might call for a drink. EXCEPT, I'd have to get out in the cold and snow to go get something, so maybe it's not worth it.

I gave up sugar and fermented grapes for Lent....why oh why didn't I drink the bottle of prosecco I have in the fridge first? It is calling out to me. I had sparkling water with my Valentine's dinner last night but somehow it just isn't the same.

DH has the snowmobiles all gassed up and ready to go! I am excited to hit the trails!

My plans for the weekend though are to finish up my taxes so that I can have that weight off my shoulders and breathe easier for awhile....atleast until my accountant calls and tells us how much we owe this year

Hubs and I also just got some new snow shoes so I am also anxious to get on those too!

I doubt there will be much drinking going on......I am loopy enough on my own that I need no assistance.

This week has been in-freaking-sane, with DH working 12 hours Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and 10 hours yesterday. Between Monday and Wednesday he did *maybe* one hour of parenting...total. And I went somewhere all three of those evenings with both kids too. Then yesterday was Valentine's with it's incumbent chaos, and have worked all week too. My son has been fighting sleep (sleeps great once he gets there at least!) and it's been a long week. I barely stayed afloat with housework and the house is a huge mess. I like to have all the cleaning done by 5:30 on Friday but I don't think that's happening this week. Since it's 3:30 and none of it is done :P

I feel dazed and numb at the idea of friday.

Are you having a big thaw? Our snow is so wet and stinky. My daughter walks home from school (about 30 minutes) and when she walked in the door there was that smell of god knows what that only people who live where there is snow seem to know.

Nope. We just got 12+" dumped on us! happyface and this morning on the way to work my Jeep thermometer said -3F. The temp right now is 10F with a night time low of -13F.

Depending on where you actually live in Canada, I am farther north than some even though I am still in the U.S.

Plus my weird little pocket of the country is F'en cold most the winter. Last year I posted a -47F actually temp.
