New Baby Eating Habits

New little guy, started last week 8 wks old eating 6 ozs every 4-4 1/2 hours. It's take him 45 mins to finish a bottle! I'm thinking he needs to move up to a different flow nipple maybe? 45 mins is a long time to sit down and feed a little one with a room full of other kids. I don't recall it ever taking any of my other infants this long to drink a bottle...

I would definitely think he should try moving up to the next flow size. That is a long time ...

yeah that is way too long. Most kids are just fine with 10 or 15 minutes with a bottle, occasionally 20 minutes.

Is he struggling to ****?

Does he finish the bottle when you do feed him?

Is he being breastfed at home?
