To Fill Or Not To Fill-That Is The Question

I have 7 enrolled right now. I'm not sure if I should advertise for the open days or just keep taking drop-ins when I have space. Opinions/advice welcome:

Mon: 12 month old & 16 month old all day, 8 yo after school. (3 openings)

Tues: 10 month old, 12 month old, 4 yo & 2.5 yo all day; 8 yo after school. (1 opening)

Wed: 10 month old, 12 month old, 4 yo & 2.5 yo all day; 8 yo & 8 yo after school. (0 openings)

Thur: 10 month old, 16 month old, 4 yo & 2.5 yo all day; 8 yo & 8 yo after school. (0 openings)

Fri: 12 month old, 16 month old, 4 yo & 2.5 yo all day; 8 yo & 8 yo after school. (0 openings)

Is it worth advertising for Mondays & Tuesdays? Or even just Mondays?

I'm worried about a child here 1-2x a week not adjusting. But at the same time the extra $25-$50 would be nice.

    Thoughts?

I think if you get steady drop-ins you should keep it as is. But if not, and you do decide to advertise some openings, I would try to stick with preschoolers or after school. I've found they have the easiest time adjusting just coming once or twice a week.

I would keep advertising, assuming your advertising options are free. have a trial basis where if a child is not adjusting, they are let go and you just keep looking. i wouldnt take an infant for just one or two days because 9 times out of 10, they are not going to be happy in part time care plus you already have two kids 12 months and under. but an older toddler or older child may work just find for occasional care.
