    Drop Off Dirty

Do your parents drop off their kid with poopy/full diapers? I have one who does.

I have one that comes with a dirty face. I've posted about it before. I have now added into my manual that the child must come clean.

Does it look like its a diaper that has been dirty for hours? Or maybe just did it on the drive to your house? If its happened more than once I would say you need to bring him here clean.

The child comes first thing in the morning in jammies with a full diaper from the evening.

I would just tell them they need to bring the child dressed for the day and diaper changed. What are breakfast, face washed, hair brushed, teeth brushed? Sounds like they are pulling him out of bed and bringing him straight there. Does he come that early in the morning? I don't know how you would change him and his clothes as other kids are coming in the morning.

Turn the child around and hand them to mom or dad and say "Oh oh, looks like someone isn't ready to join us yet." and get mom/dad a diaper, point them in the direction of your changing area and hand them the diaper and some wipes.

Child is ready for the day when they have a fresh clean diaper on.

fwiw~ I am NOT talking about the occassional dirty drop off...that happens. I am talking about the continual or repeat offenders.

What Blackcat said but make sure they know they arne't suppose to be leaving him in pj's and a dirty diaper. Especially if you have been taking him that way for a while. They probably think no problem she hasn't said anything about having a problem with it.

Some of these parents. Its like they couldn't be bothered taking care of their own child when they have them.

That's true. I'd be EMBARRASSED to drop off my child like that.

I have it in my manual that I shouldn't have to feed or change a child as soon as they walk in my door. The child needs to be ready for the day. If they try to drop him/her off with a dirty diaper I'd show the parent to the changing table!
