3 year olds. They're old enough to participate in activities.

My favorite age 4y. I love listening to them play. 3y old (already potty trained) come in a close 2nd.

I voted 3 yr olds.
They are usually toilet trained, can walk, talk and self feed.
They also tend to nap rather well IME.
They are still fascinated by the world around them and they can participate in some pretty creative conversations.
