I put 4 yr. olds, which I love but my all time favorite age is 5/6. I want to be teaching kindergarten again!

I agree! They grow so much at this age! They may not want as much cuddling but they make me laugh every day.

I voted 3 yr olds.
They are usually toilet trained, can walk, talk and self feed.
They also tend to nap rather well IME.
They are still fascinated by the world around them and they can participate in some pretty creative conversations.

I have never had an infant below 8 months other than in my student placement time in the 80s. I love babies.

Where you are from is an infant below 18 months, toddler 18-30 months and preschooler 30 months-6 yrs?

Schoolaged is considered 6-12 years for daycare purposes.

I have the most awesomest SA right now and will lose three this year (aging out-:) one being my own ds. I love having them on days off because they love to do projects, will watch movies for more then 5 minutes, play so well together, etc.

I love preschoolers-kindergarten because their brains absorb so much, we can sit and do simple projects, everyone feeds themselves, lays down at the same time, no diaper changes, etc.

I couldn't just chose one!!! I LOVE from 1 and up! My favorite ages are 1 - 4 1/2.
