It's a Holiday!!!!

Yay! We don't get the day off but I do Pancake Tuesday with the kids and a mardi gras party. I live in a pretty catholic city. Mardi Gras translates to Fat Tuesday and it is exactly what was said above. The chance to clean out your pantry of all the treats you will be going without during lent.

Nowadays not as many people here follow a traditional fast but the kids will usually choose something to give up. This year it is soft drinks and snack foods.
