Daily Schedule/Activities

Hi!

I have a very wide age range of children I care for - from 3 months to 4 1/2 years old.

I find it very difficult to schedule our days. We always have meals/snacks and nap at the same time every day. The rest of the day is filled with lots of free play, reading books and watching TV lately since it's been too cold to go outside.

Please give me some ideas on what to do with the kids. My creativity is lacking recently.

My youngest is 3 months old. He loves to watch the kids during big wheel time. We ride them throughout the daycare on the hardwood floors in a pattern. The kids learn safe driving & get a star for not wrecking each other. We have Zombie time where we play Zombies, play-dough time, sit n spin contest, walk like a cat, find me colors that match, Letter of the day, story time, coloring, etc. We don’t go outside during this cold weather. I can’t wait until we can. They need to run it off!!
