I put an ad on cl to promote my in home childcare. A woman emailed me (yesterday) who has 2 children and asked my rates and told me her schedule changes, but she always knows two weeks in advance. I then emailed her my rates and asked her how many days she would need care for. She proceeds to tell me her work schedule for THIS week, that she would work for a couple of hours tomorrow (today) she guesses and then one of the days her husband would pick up at 6:30. I close at 6 and my ad clearly says that. Well come to find out, she put an ad on cl for someone to watch her children ASAP until they move and she needed care the next day because she had to work at 11am! This woman was willing to drop her children off to anyone! She emailed me later at night so it's not like she would have been able to meet me first. I understand that people are in a bind, but come on! I could never drop my children off like that!
