How Would You Handle This

[Country Kids]

In the schools you never are alerted to what the kids are exposed to but I have one that goes to a preschool that does. Something is always coming home about what a child in the classroom has.

This week alone-pink eye and head lice!

How would you guys handle this-just see what happens?

I have never been this worried about something coming through my door till this year when I see all these notices come home!

My kids always get notices. Last couple of months we've gotten ones alerting us to pink eye, flu and strep and lice in the classroom (the lice one we've gotten letters home several times this year )

They were more educational than anything....this has been an issue in your childs classroom, this is what to watch for, this is what you can do to prevent....that sort of stuff.

Drives my skeeve out meter right through the roof.

There's not much you can do unfortunately except for run through with the child to wash hands often, keep their hands to themselves and not share any personal items.

I just check for lice every couple of days and put their hair in a ponytail with some hairspray when we get a notice home.

This is a boy who the hair is kept very short and they are checked all the time at school. Its just there are so many notices home (not for him) but other kids that it just makes you wonder.
