    One Of Those Weeks...

One of those weeks I have to keep reminding myself "this is not my LIFE... it's just a job I do"!! I love my kids!! ...and I love my families... and they all love me back and appreciate the happy/educational/nurturing environment I provide to these families... but some weeks it is only "my own family needs" that prevents me to give a 2 weeks notice and close down this business for good!!!!? I do it for my family! Last week was this boy's first week and he was always so happy... this week all he does is cry and pop! I keep seeing the other kids blocking their own ears... It's starting to depress me...

This is not my life, it is just my job
This is not my life it is just my job
This is not my life, it is just my job!!!!

Sounds like are having the same type of week. My preschoolers have decided to form an alliance this week and EVERY time they think I am not looking they try to break any rule possible. I keep telling myself "they are just testing their boundaries...stand your ground". ::.sounds like a war cry! ::

A few years ago I was picking up some toys and kept hearing my just turned 3 year old daughter and daycare kid who was the same age talking. He was saying "take an eye"...since they were always very creative I didn't think twice about it. Then I got done and saw they were in the candy bucket and realized that "take an eye" meant "keep an eye out" . Alliance indeed!
