Boogerfest (don't read if you get grossed out)

I have a little guy (2) who was off yesterday and is back today. No fever or any other reason to refuse him but his nose is a constant stream of bright green, elastic snot. I just looked over at him and it was dangling into his lips. I can do poop, puke etc but mucus does me in.

I have Purelled myself into oblivion.

I too have an issue with nasal discharge. I find the I grit my teeth whenever I am wiping noses so by the time the end of the day rolls around, if I have had a kid with a runny nose, my whole neck, jaw and upper back aches!

I do have a requirement in my illness policy that anyone who has any type of excessive nasal discharge for more than 5 consecutive days MUST see a doctor so I know they are still viral and that the cold hasn't morphed into anything more serious.

Good idea! I am going to suggest this to his mum- thanks for the suggestion.
