    What Do You Call Your Kids?

    I call them all sweetie pie or sweet angel..... first of all because they are! lovethis

    and also because it's easier than running through 14 names before getting the right one!

    Haha - depends what they just did! LOL

    I call them all kinds of things, like the girls I call Missy a lot. Also each of them seem to get their own nickname eventually.

      I do have general terms of endearment that I use - because with almost 10 kids here on a daily basis there are times I draw a blank and pull the "you know who I'm talking to"::

        Lately it's been Dearheart most often, or darling. But i have a lot of terms of endearment I use. I go through phases.
        Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

                  dad thought it was funny

                      Precious, sweetie and they all have there own nickname.

                      My own kids get called Angel all day since forever. I accidentally called one of my DCB's Angel...and my son looked at me very sternly and said MOM I thought that was MY special name...I really never even knew he liked it all that much since he's almost 8 But I guessed wrong! I quickly apologized of course.

                          Hailey Bear-y (her name is actually just Hailey so I don't know if it would be considered a nickname), Monk, Salamander (as in Xander Salamander), Pillow (as in Willow Pillow), Bubby, Jo-Jo, Lucas McGookis, Zoo-E (As in Zoey), Crakin (last name is McCrackin..I love to shout "release the Crakin!"), Carter Sauce, Tay-Tay, Ty-Ty and Livibug.

                          The funny thing is that Jo-Jo and Monk are also used by the parents and have really become these children's names. Even the grandparents are starting to use these instead of their given names.

                          The kids always use the nicknames of their friends. When the parents ask about their day its Jo-Jo this and Ty-Ty that.

                            Most of the time, I use their special nickname - most having to do with their names, I guess I'm not really violating any privacy by posting first names without a story:

                            Ella = Ella Bella
                            Addie = Addie oo (ew)
                            Ryland = Ry Ry the guy
                            Chase = Chasers
                            Sophia = Sophie Ophie
                            Dillon = D-man
                            Andi = piddle pie or Andi Candy
                            Knox = knoxy poo

                            The babies dont really have any yet - I must subconsciously do it once their older. Although some of the babies I call squirt or peanut, and they usually have an exclusive term of endearment.

                            And throughout the day, I say "honey" "baby boy/girl" "sweet pea".
