    Too Cold Outside

    Hi!

So I was just wondering what everyone else did to fill in the "outside Time" when you are not able to go outside because it is far too cold.

I pull out the toddler mattresses and let them bounce away to get some of that energy out. We do sack races or dance parties which don't require a ton of space. I also have a swing, rope ladder and rings set up so they can be pretty active even though they're inside.

I have several of those hopping balls with handles(the kids sit on them and hop), I have a mini tramploine with handle (the only kind we can use in my state) we play sctive games like "popcorn!" or dance party or follow the leader, etc. With older children we have taken old construction paper and crumpled it up and played "snow ball fight."

Today we laid hula hoops out and jumped from one to next as well as tried to hula... I hung a bunch of letter monsters up today a d the kids would reach in a bucket and find a letter...then go into playroom and run around looking for the monster with this letter to smush it. The kids were pretty worn by nap time
