    Another Rate Question, Sorry :)

So I have a lead on a DCF. A referral from a current DCF.

It has the "potential" to work out wonderfully for me

The DCF needs part time care. All I have available is T- W- Th.

My current rate is $125/week for full time care (over 20 hours week).

I have another family that is state paid that comes M-W-F but not every M-W-F.

How would you charge for the 3 days because that is all you have available??

Would you discount? Or would you charge full rate and let the DCP know that they could use M-F if the other DCF didn't need it that week?

TIA just wanting to have ideas before I talk to this potential DCF.

I have had lots of p/t families and I have always just charged them for the days I was able to guarantee them and if the other days became available, I would charge them accordingly.

(I charge $200 for f/t care- Monday thru Friday, so 3 days is $120 with an additional $40 if they were able to attend any extra days that week.)

Take your normal weekly rate divide by 5. Get your daily rate. Then x that by the number of days. So if its 125 week for 5 days the it would be $75 Pt for 3 days. However. I charge more for my par timers than I do my full time days.

Example ft rate is $45 a day pt is $50.
